This is great news for bowhunters - men and women - who may shoot lower-poundage bows and have been frustrated with the lack of performance in the field from standard broadheads. The new HyperShock™ broadhead is for you. You can now - more than ever - confidently hunt and harvest wild game with lower poundage bows. As for the high power bowhunter, the results are nothing short of incredible!

In the reliability department, the HyperShock™ brings it to new levels. Aftershock refused to consider any design compromises due to cost. No amount of fancy marketing buzzwords are going to make a great broadhead. The HyperShock™ simply had to conform to our specifications. The materials and processes utilized to manufacture this broadhead are state of the art. From the ultra-strong and light-weight, fully machined billet type 3S hard anodized 7075-T6 ferrule, to the proprietary curved edge .032” stainless steel blades that are hard, yet ductile to avoid breaking. The very special anodizing process yields a surface hardness of 65 R-C and is over 10 times thicker than regular anodizing. This special type 3S anodize also has much less of a coefficient of friction than its competition to aid its ability to pass through bone without grinding to a halt.

Reliability in function was of paramount importance too. The HyperShock™ has three methods of blade deployment that work independently and in concert with each other to ensure the blades open in the game and not before. Even the center of gravity of the blades was designed to keep them shut when launched from a bow and aid in deployment after penetration. Although costly to manufacture, the HyperShock™ employs curved blades rather than straight. When engineering the broadhead, we could not ignore the great benefit of having the cutting edge angle more acute further away from the ferrule. These blades are huge, so they needed to conserve precious kinetic energy when open. This also required that the blades needed to be curved to slice rather than chop through tissue. The HyperShock™ Broadhead's ability to conserve energy allows for lower poundage bows to be used on game that was not suitable to hunt before. The same feature allows bigger game to be harvested with average or higher power bows.

I just wanted to thank your company for making such a great product. Im from Ohio and the Hypershock 100 gr broadhead has to have the quickest bleed out I have ever experienced.

I shot a doe on Feb 2 2008, the second to last day of season in my aunts back yard of her farm, my uncle watched from their sliding window as I put an arrow through... and the doe only ran about 25 yards and fell over dead. She field dressed at 180 pounds"by far my biggest doe ever." I just wanted to thank you for such a great product.
